Help us provide emergency grants to asylum seekers in Glasgow facing homelessness on the streets this winter

With the coldest winter in 30 years predicted in the UK this Christmas, we are deeply concerned for vulnerable women and men faced with impending lock-change evictions and homelessness on the streets of Glasgow this winter.  Cath McGee, manager of our Destitute Asylum Seeker Service explains more in this short film.

This Christmas, we’re appealing for donations for our emergency destitution grants that will ensure that asylum seekers impacted by Serco’s lock-change eviction can receive £36 to cover their most basic daily needs for two weeks. 100% of funds received through this appeal will go directly to these evicted asylum seekers or other refugees or asylum seekers in Scotland facing destitution who have no other support available.
