An opportunity to make a difference for asylum seekers and refugees.
Refugee Survival Trust (RST) informs public debate on issues affecting refugees and people seeking asylum, and provides financial and other support to prevent destitution among these groups. RST Board Members have empathy with refugee and asylum issues, strategic vision, good independent judgement, and the ability to work as part of a diverse team. RST is particularly interested in applicants with the following skills:
- Experience with media, PR, policy and communications
- Management experience in the voluntary sector or elsewhere, including oversight of budgets
- Ability and time to represent RST in meetings with stakeholders
Board Members will be required to attend six Board meetings per year. Board Members will be required to commit approximately ten hours a month to Board work. Reasonable expenses are payable.
