Join Refugee Survival Trust in celebrating the launch of our new short animation which shows how refugees who come to Scotland seeking sanctuary all too often end up being failed by the system and left hungry and homeless. Wine and nibbles will be provided and it will be an opportunity to hear more about the work RST does to prevent the destitution of people seeking asylum in Scotland.

Meadows Marathon
Sunday 4th March
The RST Team will be putting together a team for the Meadows Marathon this Spring. Why don't you join us? If you sign up now, you will be raising money for a great cause and you will give yourself a reason to keep fit over the winter months: training!
There is something for everyone with a fun run, a half marathon and a full marathon to chose from. It costs £15/25 to register but if you fundraise £100 for RST we will give you your registration fee back. For more info and to sign up now at Meadows Marathon.

Applying for Funding Workshops for Refugee Community Organisations

All Refugee Community Organisations (RCO) across Scotland are invited to take part in the Scottish Refugee Council's free applying for funding workshop (session 2) on Thursday 16 February.
The workshop will cover:
General Q&A, Following up your Application, Catch Up from Session 1, Report Writing to funders, Developing a funding strategy, Identifying a funder, Preparing/making your application
Bus tokens can be provided for travel.
